Hi, my name is Kareen. I created HiveMoms and brought it to life with the help of a good friend, Mathieu. It's my dream of a friendly, trusted community of moms who help each other through the day-to-day of raising children.
In the day, I’m a Silicon Valley entrepreneur working with my husband to develop new medical devices. I’m originally a city girl from Singapore. I have two clones who live there, my triplet sisters who look exactly like me. I kid you not.
On Nov 16, 2009, after 5 years of trying to conceive, 2 IUIs and 1 IVF later, I celebrated the good news of a pregnancy. Yay!!! This blog chronicles the later part of that journey, and my ongoing discoveries as a first-time pregnant mom. I also talk about foodie thoughts and recipes, places and other random things, and of course, about HiveMoms and my three lovely kitties.
