People are going to be specific in their search for either married or single friends, just because they want pals who share their same outlook on life. By providing this information, you help us provide a better match with people whose needs coincide with your profile.

This will be displayed on your Public Profile so that other members can decide if you are close enough to join their co-op.

If you are part of a couple seeking to start or join a co-op, it helps to show who your spouse is i.e. that he/she is someone who can be trusted to look after kids.

To create your own LinkedIn Public Profile URL and retrieve it, log in to your LinkedIn account. Click "Edit My Profile" from the left-side navigation bar. The last element of the light-blue box is your Public Profile. Click [Edit] to modify the default URL if you wish.

To retrieve your public profile URL on Facebook, log in to your Facebook account. Click Profile from the top navigation bar. Copy the website address from your browser to your clipboard (for example by clicking in the address bar, selecting all, right-clicking and selecting Copy). Then log out from your Facebook account (yes, really!), and finally paste in the address bar the URL you just copied. The address bar will refresh to a new address which is your public profile URL.

An email address can only be used once, and cannot be used to open multiple or subsequent accounts.

The photo can be of any dimension, but the file size must be less than 1MB.
Preferred file formats are JPG, GIF and PNG.
